Why PR?

As an English major at Cornell University, my passions lie in reading, writing, and narrative. With graduation looming, I was naturally drawn to the PR industry for this very reason. I am delighted at the prospect of using these skills on a daily basis (and developing new ones). Additionally, I am drawn to the creativity and quick-thinking needed to work successfully with BlissPR’s clients. The B2B space offers a unique opportunity not only to hone my PR skills, but also to gain knowledge of a variety of evolving industries.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
Currently, my work at BlissPR focuses on the sphere of professional services – a practice area with distinguished clients influencing the business world in widely-felt ways. Having a hand in such impactful practices is an exciting challenge that makes each day rewarding (and fun).
What I Did Before BlissPR
I am a recent graduate of Cornell University, where I spent the last four years studying English and pursuing a variety of other academic interests. Other experiences include living and studying in Paris, France and writing for a student-published magazine. My past summers have been spent working in publishing, public media, and human capital marketing—roles which have served me well here at Bliss.
What I Do for Fun
Having previously visited New York only for a few days at a time, I’m looking forward to exploring the city from the vantage point of someone who can (sort of) claim residency here. When I’m not exploring, you’ll likely find me reading, running, or spending time with friends.
