Why PR?
I have always been fascinated by the power of the intangible. I saw firsthand the real impact that impalpable financial instruments had on the global credit crisis. PR feeds my curiosity of the power of perception, reputation, and personality through clear and fluent communication. These intangibles define success of brands and companies in every sector and it is a PR professional’s duty to relay these messages to the world.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
I am a veteran of the financial services industry with a passion for people and the markets. I now translate my broad trading desk experience, extensive senior management interaction, and strong writing skills into thought leadership development, media strategy and relations and content creation on behalf of BlissPR’s financial services clients.
What I Did Before BlissPR
Before BlissPR, I was in trading desk management for Goldman Sachs, where I mainly worked with Fixed Income products, specifically credit instruments (bonds, bank loans, mortgage, CDS) and communicated with senior leaders of the firm on strategy development, business operations and franchise building. I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Finance and French Literature. It is fair to say that I have always strived for that right/left brain balance.
What I Do for Fun
I am invigorated by travel, language and art. Next stops on the lifelong world tour: Melbourne, Banff, Canary Islands, and Reykjavik. I am a cineaste: member of the Film Forum and psychoanalyst of Almodovar films. I visit museums, mainly for the Baroque(Caravaggio) and Surrealism(Dali) art movements. I love to play Scattegories, watch Jeopardy!, and plan parties.
