Why PR?

You learn some new thing(s) every day. At BlissPR, I get the chance to work with leading financial services organizations and help them turn their ideas into thought leadership that can drive bottom-line results. To do that, I need a solid understanding of their business. So whether it’s researching a complex new product to develop a go-to-market strategy, drumming up some ideas for a study that will reach a critical audience, or researching new targets in traditional and social media, there always some new thing(s) to be learned.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
I love developing new ideas for clients at BlissPR. There’s nothing better than coming up with an exciting concept for a client and turning it into a campaign, study or pitch topic that appears in print or on television. At BlissPR, I devote the majority of my time to account management, content development, media strategy and writing. One of my greatest professional passions is the recruitment, training and development of PR professionals.
What I Did Before BlissPR
After a brief stint as an event planner for a non-profit organization, I worked at a small business-to-business public relations firm where I was involved in media relations and account management for clients in financial and professional services. I graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where I majored in public relations.
What I Do for Fun
Love spending time at a little lake house in Upstate New York where we boat, swim and just hang out. When I’m in the city, I enjoy trying new restaurants, sitting down at my sewing machine and spending time with friends and family. I also spend a my time volunteering as a mentor at Leadership and Public Service High School here in New York, and serve as the Chair of the Marketing Committee and Recording Secretary for the school’s governing body—the Friends of the Leadership and Public Service High School.
