Why PR?

Megan Tuck: Account Executive, BlissPR-B2B Public Relations and B2B Marketing Services

One thing that makes me happy is looking at the end product of a really cool project and being able to say “I helped make that happen.”  It sounds simple, but that’s what PR is about for me.  I have always enjoyed bringing projects to a successful conclusion.  PR is my ideal mixture of passion and profession.

Areas of Expertise and Interest

I am primarily involved in working with financial services companies at BlissPR.  The scope and diversity of clients in this practice area tend to be far-reaching, making the work that we do for them each day diverse and rewarding.

What I Did Before BlissPR

I have held previous public relations positions in consumer, lifestyle, and travel and I have also worked at a non-profit organization.  The variety in my work experience allows me to bring a broad range of skills to my work here at BlissPR. I studied Sociology and Markets & Management at Duke University.  Throughout my 4 years at Duke, I was involved in a wide variety of clubs and activities; my favorites included directing and modeling in our annual fashion show and planning the freshman recruitment weekends.

What I Do for Fun

Like most people, I love the finer things in life, mainly shoes. I enjoy shopping, even if it’s just window shopping. You might also find me going on random adventures to new places in the city; from attending gallery openings to exploring neighborhoods I’ve never been to and everything in between.
