Why PR?
Communication is one of the most basic human instincts – no two people communicate in the same manner and there is no “right” and “wrong” way to communicate. The constantly evolving nature of PR means that there are many ways to approach a single situation. For me, the excitement in PR does not result from finding one right answer; instead it is the product of coordinating the right observations and facts with the best means of communication to realize a particular goal.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
Since starting at BlissPR, I have devoted my time to the growing healthcare practice. I am fortunate to work with a range of clients, from international to family-owned companies. It is exciting to learn how PR can be used in a variety of ways to complement the individual goals of every client.
What I Did Before BlissPR
I graduated from the University of Richmond where I studied Biology, Environmental Studies and Spanish. To immerse myself in a range of Spanish cultures, I spent a summer living with a family in Seville, Spain and a semester studying in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also gained experience as an intern at an environmental nonprofit with a focus on international health.
What I Do for Fun
I like to capitalize on my surroundings, whether I am traveling or exploring my neighborhood, I’m always ready try something new. I am also an avid reader – you can always find me with a book, especially about travel and historical nonfiction. Lately I have ventured into the kitchen where I am enjoying honing my skills as I learn to cook.
