Why PR?
Public Relations is constantly evolving as an industry and I’m incredibly excited to be working in this field at a time when technology is opening up new channels of communication right and left. The platforms for building awareness and delivering messages are building in variety and speed of delivery, making for a truly dynamic work environment. It’s rewarding to work with clients to identify their core messages and help them reach their target audiences, all while learning about the inner workings of their unique industries.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
In my role at BlissPR, I am responsible for clients primarily in financial and healthcare services, assisting them with media strategy and outreach, as well as day-to-day account management activities. I have a personal interest in marketing communications strategies, trends in healthcare marketing and the overall changing media landscape.
What I Did Before BlissPR
Before joining BlissPR, I worked for a leading web-based business management software in the health and wellness industry, which helps businesses leverage the power and efficiency of technology to transform their infrastructure and increase revenue. Prior to that, I worked as a journalist and freelance writer for a variety of publications in New York. I graduated from New York University with a major in Journalism and New Media Studies, and completed internships with NBC News and The New York Times.
What I Do for Fun
I love writing, reading news, painting and exploring new places. I also enjoy running, particularly over the Brooklyn Bridge! I always look forward to being with friends and family and catching up with my three sisters.
