Why PR?
First and foremost, I’m a storyteller. PR to me is about crafting a compelling brand story that impacts an audience and becomes part of their story, their day. It’s rooted in the belief of community and learning, teaching and sharing ideas as the integration of digital platforms continues to connect individuals and entities more than before. And it really doesn’t get much better than that.
Areas of Expertise and Interest
I currently work with professional services, financial services and healthcare clients to help integrate traditional and digital PR into broader brand communication programs, mainly supporting digital analytics and strategy. I specifically provide expertise on web analytics, social listening analytics, web and graphic design and CMS/HTML. To sum up my interests, it’s mostly all things digital!
What I Did Before BlissPR
My background spans journalism, graphic design and web building/content to traditional PR and digital marketing. Prior to joining Bliss, I worked in the digital sector with consumer brands providing analytics, research and content creation support at a large PR agency and a boutique digital agency. I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism.
What I Do for Fun
Two words: Go Heels! I also like to spend time with friends and family both in the New York-area and those scattered across the East coast. I’m also a born-and-raised Texan so Southern food ranks pretty high up there, too.
