Internship Program
BlissPR is currently seeking positive and motivated candidates for its internship program. Ideal candidates are energetic, organized, have a basic understanding of public relations and have strong communication and writing skills.
The internship is very hands-on—each intern will be a full-time member of three or four account teams. In general, interns will be responsible for conducting research for existing clients and new business development, media relations, social media monitoring and engagement, press release/pitch writing, news monitoring, account administration, and general office support.
As former BlissPR interns will tell you, the more energy you put into this program, the more you will get out of it. Previously, our interns have had the opportunity to interact with major media and have secured placements for clients in national business and trade publications. By the end of the program, we hope you will be seen as a valued member of your account teams and be able to perform at the Associate Account Executive level. Truly outstanding interns may also be considered for full-time positions.
BlissPR is currently seeking both full-time (Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm) and part-time interns in our Chicago office. The BlissPR New York office is currently accepting applications for summer internships only. We offer both paid and for-credit intern positions.Current Deadlines:
Fall: September–December (Deadline to apply: July 15)
Spring: January–May (Deadline to apply: December 31)
Summer: May–July (Deadline to apply: March 15)
